Leadership

Dave and his wife Alissa have five children: Elleyana, Davis, Dynae, Andrew, and Aurora.  Dave and Alissa met at North Central University, where they both graduated in 2005.  Pastor Dave  attained his master's degree in ministry leadership and is excited and honored to serve at Spirit Life.  Before becoming Lead Pastor, Dave served as an associate at Spirit Life for over 8 years. Getting coffee with others, playing music, reading, and playing needlessly complicated board games are among his favorite pastimes.

Originally from the Detroit area, Pastor and Yvonne have lived in Nebraska since graduating from North Central University in 1973.  After serving in Basset and Pender, they have served at Spirit Life Church since 1988. Pastor Davis enjoys a variety of activities including golf, cycling, and watching his favorite football teams: the Detroit Lions, Michigan Wolverines, and of course the Cornhuskers.

Ben and his wife , Angel were born and raised in Minnesota. They met in Highschool and were married in May 2019. Ben and Angel moved to Omaha for school; Angel is finishing up her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at University of Nebraska Omaha, and Ben graduated with his Degree in Worship Arts from Nebraska Christian Collage in May 2022. Ben and Angel are excited to help to further grow the Worship and Youth Department at Spirit Life Church, to help people connect with God through Worship, and to help the next generation to know God, and to follow him.

Alissa Scrabeck, our Children's Ministry director, is the wife of Pastor Dave and is also the daughter of Pastor Davis. Spirit Life has been her home church for most of her life, and she is so excited to be working with our children and preparing them for a lifetime of serving and glorifying God with their lives.  Alissa has her degree from North Central University and has been leading various children's ministries for more than fifteen years. 

Finny and Kezia have two children, Evelyn and Evangelyn. They were born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2008.  Finny completed his Masters in Theology from Liberty University, Virginia, and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Bible Exposition at the same University. Outside ministry, he also works as a Software Architect in town and teaches (remotely) in a Bible Seminary.
